Ammar is one of our General and Cosmetic Dentists. Ammar qualified with a degree in Dentistry from Dundee with Commendation.

Since completing his degree, he has taken a special interest in the fields of aesthetic and short-term orthodontics with further postgraduate training.

​

Ammar completed his training in both Invisalign and Inman aligners which gives him the ability to straighten teeth safely. He also continues to attend courses on a national and international level relating to cosmetic and restorative dentistry focusing on getting the best results using minimal, natural, and ethical methods. With advancements in technology in the dental field, he is trained to create simulations and use some latest digital dental techniques.

 

Alongside this, he is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh having successfully completed the examinations for membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery. When Ammar is away from the practice he also spends time mentoring his younger brother who has recently Obtained his dental degree with distinction from the University of Bristol.

Originally from Essex but with roots from Kenya and Asia, outside of dentistry Ammar recently got married and enjoys travelling, photography and nature.
